Roosevelt Jessie Wade was born in Dallas,Texas . At a very young age while attending church every Sunday he joined the choir alongside his brothers .This would lead to the formation of the gospel group The Wade Brothers in 1978 consisting of Roosevelt and his brothers Tyrone , Thomas and Tony . They performed together for over 24 years !! Roosevelt eventually embarked on a solo career performing gospel and eventually became involved with blues music !! He went on to tour the United States as well as the Uk with such major blues acts such as Johnnie Taylor, Bobby Patterson , Bobby Blue Bland , Tyrone Davis , Rue Davis ,Barbara Lynn,Barbara Carr, Sir Charles Jones and Ronnie Lovejoy !! In 2023 Roosevelt released his Blues/ Southern Soul album titled “Fine Looker” with the hits “Enough” a Ronnie Lovejoy remake and ballad “Angel” as well as the album titled song “Fine Looker.” Currently he’s in the studio working on his sophomore album .
